Everyday Make Up Look!

The make up I wear often varies from day to day, however I have recently found a number of products that work really well for me!

I begin with moisturising using the Garnier Moisture Bomb 3 in 1 Day Cream - Available here for £7.99.

I aim to wear a fairly natural looking base, full brows, winged liner and a nude lip and these are the products I use!

Garnier Skin Perfector Daily All-In-One BB Cream in Light - I use this first as a base to even my skin tone. I find that it really hydrates my skin and makes even my dry patches look hydrated.

Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation in 05 Porcelain - I use this on areas that I feel need more coverage, usually my cheeks, chin, nose and centre of my forehead. The foundation is matte meaning it is not always necessary to powder. It's very high coverage, yet doesn't feel cakey!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in 01 Fair - This concealer has amazing coverage and blends so nicely. I use this on any areas I feel need even more coverage, usually my chin and any blemishes.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Transparent - This powder is so cheap at only £3.99 and keeps my skin looking matte all day.

Solait Maxi Bronzer in Deep Bronze - I have used this bronzer for years and years, it bronzes my face well and is so huge it has lasted me ages!

Sleek Face Form Contour Kit in Light - I love the contour and highlight in this palette - the contour is completely matte and not too warm. I also use the contour colour as eyeshadow in my crease, and the highlight on my brow bone.

Make Up Revolution Blush Palette in Golden Sugar - I use the white/golden shade in this to highlight my cheekbones. All the shades are so pigmented, it is so worth the money at only £6.

Urban Decay Naked Palette - This palette is my holy grail eyeshadow palette. The shades are so soft and pigmented that cheaper alternatives I find just do not compare. I use the shade buck for my eyebrows, and my favourite shade for across the lid is half baked.

Collection Lasting Colour Gel Eyeliner - This eyeliner is one of my favourites, it sets completely matte as opposed to many liquid eyeliners I have tried, and is perfectly black.

Rimmel London Volume Colourist Mascara - I recently purchased this mascara, and it claims to tint your lashes after a few weeks of consecutive use. I am yet to find a mascara I love, however this one does the job for now - I probably would not repurchase it though.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes - NYX has recently started being stocked in a number of Boots stores, and this matte lip cream caught my eye as I was browsing the lipsticks. I find it to be the perfect pinky/brown nude and the formula is not drying at all.

The brushes and tools I use are all Real Techniques or Eco Tools. I recently bought the Real Technique make up sponge and I LOVE it!

Do you use any of these products? What do you think? Any recommendations?

Atlantis Las Lomas, Lanzarote | Hotel Review

Atlantis Las Lomas is a 3 star rated set of apartments, located in Puerto del Carmen in Southern Lanzarote; described on it's website as "Complex situated in the main tourist area on the island of Lanzarote, 200m from the main beachfront which is lined with a huge variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. Surrounded by stunning beaches and with beautiful sunsets."

After staying at this hotel last summer, I cannot dispute the great location of the hotel. In the centre of Puerto del Carmen, there is an abundance of great bars, restaurants and days out for everyone at your fingertips.

(The hill towards the main street with bars/restaurants/shops)

However, the hotel is at the top of a fairly steep hill and could be inappropriate for certain people.

The apartments themselves are fairly basic; containing a living area, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. They are not hi-tech, modern apartments, however when I visited, I was more than happy with what was provided.

When staying at Atlantis Las Lomas, there was entertainment most nights, and the bar was always full. The hotel restaurant is very reasonably priced and had a wide variety of food choices. Additionally, there was also a children's playground and three pool tables; the hotel also provided pool inflatables in each pool for anyone to use.

My boyfriend and I stayed here at the end of June 2015 for one week, and found that for the remarkable price we paid, Atlantis Las Lomas was more than what we expected. I would say that this hotel is good for couples and families or all ages, the only thing to consider when staying here would be if you can manage the walk up and down the hill (which we had absolutely no problem with).

For a cheap holiday, I would 100% recommend staying at Atlantis Las Lomas!
